The international symposium will be held at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza in Kathmandu,
Nepal. Based on the registration form (whether you have ticked in the box requesting
for accommodation or not), ICIMOD will make reservation for only those participants
at Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza. However, the participants will have to confirm their
reservation with the hotel. Participants can also book their rooms for accommodation
in other hotels. Since October is the peak tourist season in Nepal, all participants
are advised to book their hotels at least a month early in advance. Kathmandu has
a clear view during October and the temperature will vary from 13 - 27 Degree Celsius
with possibilities of brief rain shower.
