We have received more than 140 in numbers and we will soon be sending the acceptance letter either for oral or poster presentation for the selected abstracts. Guidelines for the paper presentation:

Title

  • Title of the paper: Arial 14pt, bold face fonts, center aligned, 1.5 line space
  • Name of author(s): Arial 11pt, regular face fonts, center aligned, single line space
  • Affiliations and addresses of all author(s): Arial 9pt, italic face fonts, center aligned, single line space (Full mailing address, phone number, fax number, email, web address)
  • List of keywords: Arial 10pt, regular face fonts, center aligned and single line space.

Abstract

  • 400 words maximum: Arial 10pt, regular face fonts, justified, single column and single line space; margins: top – 25mm (1 inch), bottom – 25mm, left – 32.5mm (1.25 inch), right – 32.5mm (1.25 inch)
  • Author(s) are encouraged to provide an informative abstract covering key element of their paper such as the background, purpose, methods, results and conclusion within the given word limit.

Main text of the paper

  • Paper A4 size; two columns, justified, space between the columns – 6 mm (0.25 inch); margins: top – 25mm (1 inch), bottom – 25mm, left – 25mm, right – 25mm; Arial 10pt, regular face fonts, single line space
  • Author(s) should present their arguments concisely. The paper should include descriptive heading such as 'Background', 'Statement of the Problem', 'Conclusions', (as needed) in order to facilitate reading
  • Maximum length of the paper should not be more than 6 pages. All the figures, graphs and tables should be included within these 6 pages.

Chapter headings

  • First level heading: Arial 12pt, bold face fonts, left aligned and single line space
  • Second level heading: Arial 10pt, bold face fonts, left aligned and single line space
  • Third level heading: Arial 10 pt, regular face fonts, left aligned and single line space
  • Only enter single line space with Arial 10 pt before first level heading.

List of references

  • Authors are encouraged to substantiate their work with appropriate important references. Please ensure that every reference appearing in the text is in the list of references and vice versa
  • Authors are requested to use author-date citations (the author's last name followed by the year of publication, in parentheses). References in the text are written as follows (Smith 1968) (Liu and Stevens 1987; Thapa et al. 1995; Ale 1997) (Smith et al. this volume). References in the reference list are written as shown in the following examples:

  • A comprehensive reference list should appear at the end of the document within paper length guideline (6 pages), arranged in alphabetical order according to the author's last name with text typed in Arial 10pt, justified and single line space. All references appearing at the end of the document should be cited in the text.

Links

  • Author(s) are encouraged to include web addresses of useful links either to their own organisation or others (as needed) if this helps to clarify or substantiate the discussion with text typed in Arial 10pt.

Illustrations

  • They should be numbered consecutively as they are presented (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc., and Table 1, Table 2, etc.). Each figure should be mentioned or "called out" before it appears.

Captions and legends

  • A descriptive caption, including figure number, should be placed directly below the illustration. A descriptive legend, including table number, should be placed immediately above the table
  • All captions and legends should be typed in Arial 9pt, regular face fonts, center aligned and single spaced.

Figures and tables

  • Figures must be submitted in a form suitable for reproduction, i.e., as a TIFF file (resolution 300dpi at print size for colour images, 150 dpi for b/w), Excel File (graphs), or high resolution hard copy (photo, slide, drawing, etc.) suitable for offset printing. Please submit electronic files for figures separately since figures in PowerPoint or pasted into WORD cannot be used (they have a resolution of only 72 dpi) and will be returned. Ensure that all graphs in a series referring to similar things are drawn to the same scale so that they can be compared directly. Ensure that all photographs, slides, tables and original illustrations are accompanied by a caption and a credit (name of photographer, artist, owner, or similar).
  • If the figures and tables are larger to fit in a single column in the main text, please use the space of both columns as per your requirement.

Permissions

  • If you use figures, tables or other materials from previously printed sources you must cite the source and ensure that you have obtained written permission to use the material from the copyright holder. Please send a copy of the permission with the paper.

Time

  • Duration for presentation: 15 minutes
  • Discussion: 5 minutes

Guidelines for the poster presentation:

  • Size of the poster: 36inch width and 42inch height (Potrait)
  • Title of the poster: Arial 50-70pt, use all capital letters for the title, center aligned
  • Name of author(s): Arial 14pt, regular face fonts, center aligned
  • Affiliations and addresses of all author(s): full mailing address, phone number, fax number, email, web address
  • Content of the poster: Arial 18pt, regular face fonts
  • All posters must be made in MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Indesign.
Note: Limit the text to about one-fourth of the poster space, and use "visuals" (graphs, photographs, schematics, maps, etc) to tell your "story".

Abstract

  • 250 words maximum: Arial 10pt, bold face fonts, justified, single column and single spaced
  • Author(s) are encouraged to provide a brief descriptive abstract covering key element of their poster within the given word limit.
